STING Hive
Enterprise AI. Same Privacy. More Power.
Everything in STING CE — the same core platform, same privacy guarantees, same encryption — plus enterprise tools for teams that need more. Your data still never leaves your servers.
The STING Family
STING is one platform with three editions. Hive doesn't replace CE — it extends it. Every feature in CE works identically in Hive. Enterprise capabilities are purely additive.

Everything below is additive. Hive doesn't replace anything in CE — it builds on top of it.
Hive Mode — ChatOps
Your team already lives in Slack, Teams, or Discord. Why make them open another tab?
Hive Mode deploys Bee AI directly into your existing platforms. Your people ask questions, get answers, and access Honey Jars without ever leaving the conversation.
- Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Discord — full integration with all three
- No separate login — platform identity binds to STING accounts automatically
- Platform-native formatting — Slack blocks, Teams adaptive cards, Discord embeds
- Channel → Honey Jar mapping — route channels to different knowledge bases
- Identity binding — secure, auditable access across platforms
Waggles — Smart Notifications
Named after the dance bees do to share information. Waggles routes the right alerts to the right people on the right platform.
- Cross-platform delivery — notifications land in Slack, Teams, Discord, or all three
- 14 event types — reports ready, PII detected, system alerts, knowledge updates, and more
- Channel routing — send security alerts to #security, reports to #reports
- Platform-native templates — each notification formatted for its platform
- Delivery tracking — know what was sent, where, and whether it arrived
Nectar Worker — Bot Framework
Bee is great. But sometimes you need specialized bots with their own personalities, knowledge, and jobs.
- Custom personalities and knowledge — each bot gets its own system prompt and Honey Jar access
- Conversation handoff — bots escalate to humans when out of their depth
- Per-bot analytics — usage tracking, response quality metrics, conversation logs
- Public bot access — share bots via links for external users without full platform access
- Multi-LLM backend — different bots can use different models
Beeacon — Enterprise Monitoring
You can't manage what you can't measure. Beeacon gives you visibility into everything your STING deployment is doing.
- Grafana dashboards — system metrics, service health, resource usage
- Loki log aggregation — centralized logs with Promtail forwarding
- Centralized monitoring — one pane of glass for the entire stack
- Pollen filter — diagnostic bundles with automatic secret sanitization
Session Jars — Knowledge from Conversations
The best insights often happen mid-conversation. Session Jars capture them before they disappear.
- Promote chat sessions into permanent, searchable Honey Jars
- Automatically capture valuable conversation threads as reusable knowledge
- Bridge the gap between real-time discussion and institutional memory
Priority Support
When something goes wrong at 2am, you don't want to wait for a community forum reply.
- Dedicated support channel — direct access to the team that built it
- Priority issue resolution — your bugs get fixed first
- Deployment assistance — help with setup, migration, and scaling
- Custom feature requests — shape the roadmap based on your needs

FAQ
Is Hive a separate product from STING?
No. Hive is STING CE with enterprise features added on top. Same codebase, same core, same privacy model. Think of it as CE → Hive, not CE vs Hive. If you're running CE today, upgrading to Hive adds capabilities without changing anything that already works.
Can I try Hive before committing?
Yes. Our demo server runs a real Hive deployment — the actual product, not a slideshow. Request a demo and we'll walk you through it live. Start with CE for free anytime, and upgrade to Hive when you need enterprise features.
Does my data leave my servers with Hive?
Never. Hive inherits CE's privacy model completely. ChatOps connectors relay messages through your deployment — not through our servers. Beeacon monitoring stays local. Bot conversations stay local. The "your data, your servers" guarantee is non-negotiable.
What ChatOps platforms are supported?
Hive Mode supports Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Discord with full integration — platform-native formatting, identity binding, and channel-to-Honey-Jar routing. Each connector uses the platform's native API for proper blocks, adaptive cards, and embeds.
